Grafted Apple tree new growth

I live in south western Sydney and the mornings have still been reasonably cool but shifted away from the 0d egree mornings and hitting low 20s temps except for a few warm days.

I planted in winter when the tree was sent as bare root.

The trunk seems to have a hint of green so I suspect the tree is all fine, but still no signs of new growth.

Prwttu sure it's all looking fine but first time grower

Hi Pete,

Apple tree gets out of its dormant (sleeping) in winter depends on CVs. It varies between 300 and over 1000 hours. Below is a few examples of dormancy time or Chill hours. Be patient it will wake up soon. Cheers

1. Fuji, Gala, Imperial Gala, Crispin, and Royal Gala need more than 600 hours.
2. Pink Lady apples need between 500-600 chill hours.etc.
