BlackThumbed starts with ... Hello, i was wondering if anybody knew what you can graft onto a Nectarine rootstock. I know that we're coming into summer, but I wanted to know for the future. I was thinking of some donut peaches and some blood plums, but i don't want any incompatibility issues. Thank you all for your help. | About the Author BlackThumbed MALVERN EAST,3145,VIC 13th November 2017 8:27pm #UserID: 16240 Posts: 38 View All BlackThumbed's Edible Fruit Trees |

Fruitylicious1 says... Hi BlackThumbed, Theoretically, you can graft most stone fruit tree in a single stone fruit root stock. This was proven by U.S. art professor Sam Van Aken who grafted forty different varieties of stone fruit into a single stone fruit root stock successfully . His magical creation is aptly called 'The Tree of 40 Fruit'. It all depends upon the knowledge, skill and timing of the grafter. The only limit is your imagination. And it all comes down to your own personal preferences. Happy Gardening :-)
