Green Gage plum, flowering time in canberra region (forum)

Really getting desperate for some information on green gage flowering times in the canberra region. We have a wonderful old english plum in the backyard which is currently in flower, (19th sept) and has been in flower for at least a few days. We're hoping that this will serve as a pollinator for a green gage which we're trying to source out, (but will recieve after it's flowered). We're situated in one of the colder parts of canberra, (Reid). Any information would be much appreciated!

My greengage has now (10th October) largely finished flowering. By 15 October I think its flowers will be gone. This is too late for many European (and all Japanese plums) to coincide. But the usual pollinators like Coe' Golden Drop and Robe de Sarjeant should coincide with enough of its flowering season. If you haven't got them, borrow a branch from a tree in flower and put it in a vase of water next to your greengage tree while the bees do their work.

Sorry can't help you Benf but I have just moved to Lyneham and there is two beautiful trees which are either plum trees or cherry trees, where is the best place to find out what kind of tree they are? It had little white flowers (flowering around the 19th of September) and now it has tiny little green fruit on it with up to 5 flowers/fruit per stalk. Any ideas?
