We recently moved onto a property with four acres of orchid. It was wild and had not been upkept for many years. We are just learning as we go. There is a small grove of peach trees that are ripening nicely, however, the fruit is black inside with what looks like maggots. Can anyone tell us what they are and how to treat them. Many thanks

Fruit fly, there are lots of discussions here on the forum about fruit fly that you may like to peruse, we use an organic product here at the nursery call eco-naturalure and have found this to be very helpful in the battle against the maggot.
