Help! Lychee tree dying!! (forum)

Hi,

My small Lychee tree is in a bad way. For the past few weeks it's been consistently dropping 2-3 leaves per day. It started with dropping mature leaves which were green, but now the young, new flush leaves are drying up and dying while on the tree. Also the branches which don't have leaves anymore are browing and dying. I've been watering it every day. Have tried watering every other day as well.

To try and save it I planted it last week (it was recently bought from the nursery 2 months ago and had one flush of ne growth, then these problems started suddenly). Tried spraying Pyrethrum as I read it may be mites. The pyrethrum seemed to make the leaves go even more brown.

Nothing seems to be working! It seems to have more than one problem as some green leaves are just dropping every day, some younger leaves are drying on the tree, some leaves are turning brown in splotches, some are browning and drying at the tips. The soil is well draining.

I have pyrethrum, neem oil, mancozeb and a phosphorous based fungicide in case it's a disease. Might try mancozeb next.

Could I use seasol to help it?
