How many nuts can I gather from one Malabar tree per season? How many times Malabar tree producers fruit / nuts during one year? Only once or multiple times?
I would like to receive information from experienced growers of Malabar trees.
I am interested in growing this tree because I really like this beautifully testing nuts. I have tried them during my trip to French Polynesia. Those nuts are the best testing nuts that I have ever ate. Best testing.

The Malabar in the Brisbane botanic gardens in the city one summer had about 30 fruit over January to April with 10-20 seeds each.
I have been growing these for years and find it takes about 6 years to get good production. They are swamp plants and like to be well watered. If you keep the water up they will mature faster.

Thank you for your reply, I have heard that one tree can bear 50 - 80 pods. Is it possible? Maybe for a full matured tree? Please let me know. I am serious about establishing a large orchard of those Malabar tree nuts so I would like to know as much information as possible. If you have any experience in growing Malabar nuts on commercial bases please share your thoughts and experience.
Waiting for your reply.
