Identify peach variety

I'd like some help to identify this peach variety grown on south coast NSW. They are fairly large yellow fleshed with a distinctive pointed end and ripen during January. They are probably freestone. The full-sized tree was planted at least 20 - 30 years ago, so not a modern variety. Any ideas?

No idea but it certainly looks familiar - Elberta perhaps? Would love a cutting - looks quite interesting. Here's a link to some historic peach cultivars. To me it looks like an Elberta with the pointy end. http://fruitandnuteducation.ucdavis.edu/education/fruitnutproduction/PeachNectarine/Peach_Nect_FlFr/Peach_Hcv/
