Is my avocado dying? (forum)

I have a dwarf Wurtz avocado that has only been in the ground for a couple of months. Sandy soil but I did put soil from landscape centre (something they mixed up in the hole before planting). I live coastal mid north coast NSW (temperate/subtropical). Am I somehow killing it?
