Is this tree dead

Hi we have this flat peach tree in our backyard we purchased it from Bunnings along with the nectarine tree also pictured last year both trees flowered and had little fruit and a lot of leaf curl. This year the flat peach has not flowered as you can see and the nectarine has but with excessive leaf curl. The trunk on the peach appears green but the branches are dry, Is the peach dead? Should I remove both and start again ? What is the best course of action? Thanks.

I'm not sure where you are, but my peaches only just came into flower, so I wouldn't panic just yet.

Did you spray for leaf curl?

Instead of spray, pick all the curly leaves. You get a good result next year. Need enough water for the tree.

You get an even better result if you do both ;-)

Hi Pauline, thanks for your reply we are in Victoria on the Mornington peninsula, it is still in the same condition as the photos. Regarding the spray no we didn't and I guess that has probably caused the trouble.

Thanks again
