Hello, I purchased a Keitt (?) grafted mango from Bunnings about 6 weeks ago. It seems to be going really well, is about 1.5m high, and has produced 3 flower spikes. After flowering most of the baby mangoes dropped off, but I am left with probably 10 little ones (about 5mm). Since this is a very young tree, should I trim these flower spikes off for this first year to allow the tree to grow, or leave and see what happens?? Many thanks for anybody who is happy to give advice.

I would be cutting it right down low so its about 60 - 70cm tall, you want to make the cut just above 3 or 4 nicely spaced leaves on the central leader, obviously above the graft.

I have attached a couple of photos of mine, you will end up with nicely spaced branches low on the tree which will give you a low bushy tree easy to reach the fruit and net.
