Has anyone tried growing kiwi fruit in Brisbane or is it too hot? Are there any varieties that are more suited to warmer areas? My husband and I have been lucky enough to add an extra 800m2 to our block so I'm keen to have an orchard with as many things as possible but I'd like to make sure they will all grow well in our area.

There are commercial orchards around mt tamborine and i remember my grandfather had one in a cold part of town. If you are in a cold part of town you could try a lower chill type. Something like a sweetie maybe okay?
