leaf rust on guava

Hi

I have rusty brown patches on my guava plant leaves. Please, how do I treat them. I prefer to use an organic treatment. Would bordeaux mixture be alright? How often and in what strength do I use them? The guava shrub is now flowering, I would like a safe treatment for the rust on the leaves.

Thanks heaps
T Daniel.

Yes I have this problem as well in Perth. This affects indian guvava only eventhough Thai white and Hawaian pink are growing along side. Leaf rust fungus affects young leaves which curls up as rusty edges and drops off.I sprayed Kocide blue (copper based fungiside) which works. I dont' know about any organic fungicides yet.
