Lime Tree

Hi, I have a lime tree that is only 2 years old, it gets flowers but no fruit as yet, however I seem to have a constant battle with the following: spider webs, ugly looking caterpillars, and now I also have little black bugs on the stems. I also have a 'lots of lemons' tree, which fruits very well, it also gets the spider webs and caterpillars, but as yet no little black bugs. I do not spray my garden however I think I need to do something, can you recommend something that is safe and user-friendly? Thanks

Hi Lisa,

A pyrethrium spray will do the trick. I would also suggest a good feed with some chook manure and a good water. Alternatives are blood and bone or dynamic lifter, spread around the drip line and water in well.
