loquat flowering (forum)

kert starts with ...
Something v. odd ....all the loquats are flowering 6 months after they are meant to. The fruit will now ripen mid winter ,if it ripens at all.

The same with my plum tree. It started to flower this week. 5 months earlier.

My loquat if flowering at the moment too. I think its pretty normal for them to be flowering now and fruiting late winter/early spring ... at least here in wollongong
