Lychee right at the coast? (forum)

How would lychee do right at the coast in Newcastle area? I read it needs a dry winter which is a bit cooler. Does anyone have fruiting trees?

The lychee will do just fine. We have 2 different lychee trees in Sydney and they produce well each year.
