Don't fret Vera

There could be several reasons for this, under watering OR over watering, Leaf Miner or a soil problem.

Lack of Boron [Borax] can cause leaf curl so spread some around under the canopy, not to much.

If the leaves have silvery streaks under them then it would be leaf miner, for that I would use something like Lebaycid or you can get a spray just for that purpose.

Then it could be mold/soot so a spray of copper oxichloride should do the trick, make sure to use a wetting agent as this is most important.

thank you for your help thought I would put in a photo with the help of my hubby. I have moved the mulch from her base and have sprayed white oil given her some seawood liquid fertilizer. Some say to wet, the lemn and orange tree beside no problem. Did see a couple of sap suckers that I can spary later but yesterday the leaves sound dry and the fruit I am not worried about losing. So worried that I am still going to lose her!!!!

Hi vera - that doesn't look too good!? I find it interesting that it's leaves on the top of the canopy that are suffering - not so much underneath?

I agree with Wayne - it doesn't have scale and/or sooty mould does it? I can't quite see in the pic...?
Do u have a moisture probe to check the soil moisture? Where is Mount Colah? Has it been really hot when this happened?

As you have fertilised - it might be best not to give it any more (except the boron like wayne said 1.2grams per sqm) or you may exacerbate any problem - the leaves look reasonable and trees shouldn't do this in a period of just a few days due to lack of food.

It's really interesting - hope u find out what it is? I might have a google n see if I can find anything too.

That tree is wanting alright, and more than what I suggested. Our garden guru was solving this problem the other day on ABC radio -- and I forget exactly what he said.

This chap is a legend up here and what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing. There is a wealth of information in here Vera from many years but if you can't find what you are looking for, ask him.
