Mango Tree Disease (forum)

Dear Fruit Tree Forum,
I am writing from Bali. I have many mango trees in my garden and all of them thrive very well, never ever any problem, many of them grown from seeds. Lately I got very nice fruits, a species you do not find here so often anymore and I planted them. In the beginning everything went fine and they grew very well until about 50 cm high, now they stopped growing alltogether, the new leaves on the top do not develop, always dead after a short while, when still small, looks as if they are drying off, or some bug is eating them? Also there are some brown spots on the leaves as you can see on the picture.
Should anybody be able to give me advise what I can do I would really appreciate a lot!
Thank you very much in advance,
Silvia.

try improving the soil, they look like they dont have enough nutrition, and the shoots dont have enough to keep growing. we use horse poop alot aroung plants as it is not too strong, dont put it against the trunk but around it like a mulch hope that helps

Thanks Sue! Actually I already gave a lot of compost when planting and also liquid fertilizer of stinging nettle and seaweed every 2 weeks...Will try the horse poop.
Kind regards and thanks again,
Silvia.
