Mango Tree Identification?

    0 responses

Hello everyone! I live in Pittsburgh, Pa, USA. I am growing a mango tree from a seed that I got out of a mango fruit. However, the leaves of my plant do not look like a typical (longer) mango leaf. Actually, the seed sprouted 2 shoots. Attached is a picture of the leaves on my plant. The plant is about 6-7 inches tall, the first two leaves that originated on each of the 2 shoots looked like the prototypical longer mango leaves. Those leaves have now shriveled up, and all leaves now look like this picture. Any idea on what it is?/what type of mango tree?

Your response would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
