I have a mango tree and each year the fruit boilks in itself from the heat we get in January. I am in an argument with my wife about covering the tree with shade cloth in an endeavour to save the fruit.
Is it advisable to cover the tree with shade cloth on a frame and about 450mm above the tree?

I agree with Anonymous Max, there is no reason to cover your tree with shade cloth. Keep the moisture up and encourage leaf growth as it seems to me that the fruit is being sunburnt. Is this correct??
