Mulberry Tree fruit dying (forum)

Hi all,
I have 2 Mulberry trees in my backyard, I believe 1 is a weeping mulberry (i'm not great with trees) One mulberry tree produces loads of fruit, and the other (weeping) tree seems to produce fruit about a month earlier, though it all dies before ripening. The trees haven't been pruned in the 3 years we've lived here and I'm wondering if this could be causing the fruit to die. Both trees will be getting a good haircut this month!
Thanks, Sarah
