Mullberry leaves browning, curling and dying

    1 responses

G'day everyone.
I have 3 young Mulberries about thigh high and all 3 have the same issue...
Leaves are turning brown on the edges, the leaves curl on some and the leaf slowly disintegrated.
In some cases, the new, green breanch it's gown from, shrivels and dies off, as does the fruit on it.

The new, green branches has a brown rust like staining on them.

They are watered regularly, fed with diluted Seasol, mulched with hay and are in the Northern Victorian sun all day.

We recently had incredibly harsh winds and they did get thrashed about 3 weeks ago, before I could drag them all inside.

I have a slightly different black Mulberry that's about 5 years old and it's not having this problem and is kept under the same conditions.

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Ive had similar issues with my dwarf black mulberry - its coming back ok now since its warmed up more but all first fruits have basically fallen but it could push another crop - maybe also its a bit young still but they do like it hot.
