Multiple Avocado Stems

    2 responses

I got an Edranol avocado from Daley's 12 months ago. It is growing very well but in the last month it has started producing more stems as per picture. Should I remove them or leave them. If remove what is best method? Thanks

Hi Denis,

Its a side shoot from the root stock not the graft avocado so it should be removed by a sharp knife or by a cutter and paint over the wound by any water base paint. Cheers
