jjv9955 starts with ... We have recently moved to a new home (SE Qld - 550 metres above sea level))and have an unusual small tree in our new well established garden. It has small fruit emerging from the branches (approx 12 mm dia) - initially green then quickly turning dark brown/black. Previous owner tells us it produces twice a year and the fruit is edible (not the seeds). It looks a lot like the one on your website home page. We would like to know its name if anyone can help Thanks | About the Author jjv9955 Tamborine Mountain 18th February 2014 1:37pm #UserID: 9519 Posts: 1 View All jjv9955's Edible Fruit Trees |
Kath says... Have a look at the Jaboticaba http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/Jaboticaba-Tree.htm Before the fruits for the branches will be smothered in tiny white flowers. | About the Author Kath Cawongla 18th February 2014 3:35pm #UserID: 2 Posts: 363 View All Kath's Edible Fruit Trees |
