Had a Nashi Pear China for nearly two years now and so far it hasn't dropped any leaves . I thought pear trees were deciduous .

Hi Norbert

Nashi pears are deciduous. There are a few reasons why deciduous trees hang on to their leaves in winter. Marcescence occur mostly on young trees and the lower leaves of older tree. Marcescence is common with juvenile trees and may disappear as the tree matures.

Happy gardening :-)
