Hi, would like to know what type of root system the native Peanut Tree has. Tap root would be ideal as its 2 meters from a fence line and 4 meters from a pool.

The native peanut tree (S. quadrifida) has a fleshy, non-invasive root system, that should be okay in your scenario.
It is not a pure tap root, very few large plants have these, and same goes for fibrous roots systems. It is better to look at how rigorous the root system is rather than its type for trees.
