I want to plant a water apple tree (Syzygium Aqueum) in my garden. I wonder if anyone knows the nature of the root system?!Is it invasive & aggressive? A Sewer pipe runs approx. 1 meter beneath the planting spot.
I have the same doubt with a Papaya tree..
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I wouldn't plant any syzygium sp too close to pipes, as many are identified as invasive root species. You could probably ask Yuruga for species specific information - I'd imagine they'd be one of the most knowledgable about this plant.
