New "Kiwi berries" (forum)

I noticed Coles selling "Kiwiberries" here today, bought a punnet and boy are they good. Imported from NZ, real Chinese Gooseberry taste but no fuzz. Must be the hardy kiwifruit I think, some still green but seem to become red as they ripen. Keep your eyes open for them in the fresh fruit dept - ours were near the sleeved herbs and garlic/ginger that you buy in the plastic tubes.

Yay, found some today at the Harris Farm fruit market at Erina (Gosford) They taste much nicer than they look. Definately worth growing. I'm going to plant some seeds and see what happens.
