Passion fruit vines? (forum)

Hi, i have got 8 passion fruit vines to plant along a fence but am unsure of how far apart to plant them?

Hi guss, depends how tall the fence is...if it's really tall the vines tend to go up more - if it's short then they spread wider - generally I allow 3m either side of the vine minimum. My purple grafteds don't seem to get as big as my panama seedlings - which I am struggling to contain in a 6-7m area (2m high) It's also a lot warmer here so they go a bit mad :-/
Pruning after fruiting will help to keep them more in control (make sure all the fruit doesn't end up on your neighbours side of the fence!?)
