Fruitylicious1 says... Hi Tracey Peperomia Pellucida is not a well known herb species in Australia though known sightings from Queensland, Northern Territory and W.A. has been recorded by ALA - Australia's national bio-diversity database, its rarely cultivated anywhere else. Even in tropical countries where they grow like weeds. Sourcing it will be quite a challenge for you. This herb is cold sensitive, short lived and growing it in Melbourne will need a proper greenhouse. This plant though has got pharmacological potential because it has analgesic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties. Just check Atlas of Living Australia website for specific areas in Australia where it was seen and recorded and you happen to pass by maybe you can grab some material for planting. Happy Gardening :-) | About the Author Fruitylicious1 TAMWORTH,2340,NSW 7th April 2018 2:52pm #UserID: 16885 Posts: 709 View All Fruitylicious1's Edible Fruit Trees |
