Hi, does anyone know of good resource(s) to find out which apricot and plum varieties existed before 1910?
I am getting bits of info from different websites but would be great if there are lists somewhere.
Thanks

You can contact South Australian Rare Fruit Society. They have a few collections amongst their members.

Hi Wulf;

I found a pre-1910 plum and its available for sale at Riverdene Nurseries East Gresford, NSW, 2311. The heritage plum is called Riverdene Blood Plum - a plum rescued from an old orchard planted in the 1870's. Just visit their website if you are still interested in heritage plums and apricots. Cheers ...
And Happy Gardening :-)
