Correy says... We are an australian site but our part of the world is quite similar to florida here in Northern NSW, Australia. The Cherry of the Rio Grande has beautiful white flowers that cover the tree when I saw it last but I have never tasted the fruit. I have tried the Acerola Cherry and thought that it was incredibly strong taste but perhaps not as good as a normal cold weather cherry. | About the Author Correy Woolloongabba, QLD 14th August 2007 1:09pm #UserID: 3 Posts: 493 View All Correy's Edible Fruit Trees |

karen says... I have a brazillian cherry tree that flowers with sweet smelling white and pink flowers and the fruit is so sweet it almost gives a sugar headache if you eat to much off the tree. You could try this, as they are available from most good nurseries, if you have no luck with the rio grande or ranier. karen | About the Author karen3 townsville 16th August 2007 6:28pm #UserID: 246 Posts: 3 View All karen3's Edible Fruit Trees |
