Harold Westaway starts with ...
I grew new Guinea red pawpaws over 50 years ago in Cairns . The trees grew and fruited well until a very wet season when the trees got root rot (?) and died . Since then only hybrid plants have been available in CAIRNS .
I am still in CAIRNS .W ould it be possible to grow the plant in a large pot where the plant would receive morning sun . If so what size pot and what potting mix to use . i do understand the need to fertilise , water and mulch .
