Hi there!

I have a dwarf meyer lemon tree and it has a branch the lowest one that has been growing for the last 6 months above the grafting line. It has grown quite big taller by like a half meter than the tree. Should I remove it?

Hi andre

I suggest you remove the vigorous water shoot because it will make your tree unbalanced. The water shoot will sap all the nutrients and energy for leafy growth instead of fruit production. I have four of these trees and that's what I always do if an over vigorous water shoot is trying to destroy the balance of the tree.
Happy gardening 😎
