In Queensland if you freeze the crowns for a month the plants will grow better. Do you freeze them over summer and grow them in winter or visa versa?

In Vic there should be no problems growing it. If you grow it in the shade you will get more stem. In the sun, more leaf. The beliefe is that the leaves are very toxic. They are mildly toxic and you would have to eat a lot but there are far better things to eat.
