Are the Tamarillo trees from Daleys grown from seed or cuttings or are they grafted onto a rootstock.

You might need to e-mail them directly. I bought an orange one from Daleys and it has grown about eight feet tall and flowered with a heavy fruit set in less than twelve months - I can't see a graft junction anywhere but they may be cutting grown which tend to bear early and don't grow too tall, mine has a nice, branched shape.

Just for fun, I cut the Tamarillow scion off a grafted specimen last year. The rootstock turned out to be wild tobacco, Solanum mauritianum.
It's still here growing.
