Hi, Im interested to buy a small leaf tamarind but before I do that...I wonder if they can survive an occasional frost in winter. I Live in the Wollombi and Laguna area in NSW, approx 45k south of Cessnock... I am also interested in suitable bush food for this area. Love to hear from anyone thanks

Ine got a big old one on the tweed and we do get the odd frost some years.

My gradparents have a huge one in the coldest part of town. The top gets a bit fried by frosts, but it comes back quickly.
