Maggy starts with ...
Something (insect?) is eating the leaves on my new apple tree. It is demolishing my lovely new tree. At first I thought it could be a possum but it is unlikely as the branches would not support the weight of a possum. can anyone suggest what it might be. I can't see anything.

bit early for pear slug, maybe looper caterpilars they ahve been around for a while, and are really good match for the leaf green.
have a look at the undersides of the leaf.
