Sour Cherries (Prunus cerasus)

Has anyone tried growing sour cherries in low chill areas?

From what I have read over the years, sour cherries may be more tolerant of low chilling than sweet cherries and have heard some anecdotal evidence to support this.

Any info appreciated.
