Tahitian lime (forum)

Tahitian lime - My tahitian lime tree, over time, started to have the leaves curled inwards.I thought it was a reaction to the heat we are having in Melbourne. This got progressively worse, to a stage where it was clearly visible, the tree is in severe distress.
Now, all the leaves are dried and dead and are falling off ? Why ? Will the tree ever come back ? What could have gone wrong ? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

it sounds like it has dried out due to high heat/lack of water perhaps?

You could try giving it some Seasol and Wetasoil, as well as a bit of mulch (not too close to the stem and graft though), to try to save it.

Have exactly the same problem...have been unable to work out why.

Sounds like curly leaf to me. I carn remmeber (sorry bad memory), the mights that curse this. But if you take a leaf in to a good garden shop he would probly sell you a copper oxide spray for the folage. If it was a stress problem, the leaves would have browned around the edges some what.
