Thorny Lime problem

    2 responses

Mark starts with ...
We have a mature Lime tree in the yard with very sharp thorns on the branches that will easily spike right through my normal gardening gloves. Can anyone suggest how to prune it back and dispose of the cuttings without spiking fingers and shredding garbage bags?

Apart from that it is a wonderful tree that yields many limes each year.

Thanks.

Wear leather gloves when pruning and buy a small shredder/mulcher = best investment a gardener can make.
