In the next month, they will start building in our property in Melbourne. Since the lot is only 194 sqm, hoping to look for dwarf fruit trees.
Perfect time to think on what we can do to be prepared.

For Rental property owners - who are successful growing fruit trees - any tips to share?
Any tips which fruit trees is best?
Has anyone done espalier trees?
Any Youtube or Pinterest etc links to read to keep them growing healthy, how to look after them?
Water timer suitable for them?
How to incorporate this rental contracts?

We live in another state so any tips you can share would be much appreciated.

Thanks all

Espalier a fruit tree and it will fit in a small environment. Just remember that in a rental the person may not want to maintain the plants the way they need to be so you might need to put in the rental contract that you or someone else needs access to the trees for maintenance at least once a year.
Also planting fruit trees in bottomless pots can give you instant hight and can help fit them into tight spaces and eventually they root into the ground so you don't need to water them... Bunny Guinness on youtube does a great bottomless pots video.
