MrDizzy starts with ... Hi, Can anyone help me identify this citrus tree? It was here when we moved into the house about a year ago. It hasn't flowered or fruited in that time. It's about 3m tall. Not sure of the age, but the house is 8 years old, so it can't be older than that. It appears to be ungrafted.

Brad says... big maybe, a lisbon lemon as they tend to be quite thorny when young. Try to prune and train the tree so you get some more horizontal branches which in turn will be much more likely to flower and fruit (and then we'll know for sure). based on that photo I'd prune quite heavily, but get some local advice | About the Author Brad2 G Hill,Perth 27th February 2011 3:44pm #UserID: 2323 Posts: 762 View All Brad2's Edible Fruit Trees |
