Kiwi quandary - As I am discovering, apparently the male grows faster and has leaves much more colorful. I now have two plants 15' apart and one is growing faster than the other. Too early to see any difference in the leaves. ..2848 days 10hrs

Mosquitos trap in the garden - I have heard that placing pools of water with Bti in them kills the larvae. Apparently, for that matter it is very successful however, I have my doubts on its efficacy. Mosquitoes are attracted by water and of course Co2. They bite before laying eggs..2874 days 18hrs

Kiwi quandary - I do not believe there is any way easy way of telling gender before flowering, there are however differences between varieties, for instance sweetie male is much hairier than sweetie female.
