My Edible Fruit Trees: Pawpaw Trees WA
Pawpaw - Bisexual and Female (Seedling) 7/10Pat1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 4598 days 3hrs Comments: - These trees have been grown from seeds taken of fruits from the market. I used long bisexual fruits. I renew these plants every few years. They are quick growing and productive but the winter wind in Perth make them bold in winter. They come back in Spring though and the fruits are nice in Spring and Summer. I now keep both bisexual and female plants. The female is gigantic with about 20 side branches! I thought they were meant to be single stemmed. Fruiting Months January, February, March, November, December Planted: 2008 Height 4 metres Fruit Harvest: 20 kilograms per Year First Fruited: 18 Months From Seed Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Spring When I Fertilise: When Fruiting, Winter, Spring Organic Status:Organic Was this review helpful?
