Perennial producing crisp, delicious spears during warmer months. Harvest at ground level when spears are 15-20cm tall.
AFTER HARVEST USE:
Delicious fresh or blanch for 2-3 minutes then freeze.
POSITION: Full sun.
PLANT: 30-40cm apart.
Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and complete garden fertiliser. Use premium potting mix for container plants. For best results mulch well and liquid fertilise regularly.
