Passionfruit grow well in warm, sunny sites preferring a north or north-easterly aspect. As passionfruit are fast growing and produce large numbers of fruit they need the support of a trellis or fence.

For best results:

Tolerant of most soil types, a well drained soil is preferred. This can be enriched by adding compost an'dlor manure as well as some complete fertiliser.
