Grafted selection of the Australian renowned Bowen variety, excellent flavour, very juicy and aromatic. Most famous for not being too stringy. The Jala Avocado produces supersized Australian avocados. They can grow up to four times the size of the usual sized avocados you find in the shops. This is a new release from Fleming's Nurseries Qld, and will be available to the backyard gardener. At this stage, they consider it to be a B type with a good level of self-pollination. More information on this will be available next flowering season 2025. Featured on ABC News websites along with the TV program Landline. The variety is PBR, meaning unauthorised propagation is not allowed.
Mango - Orange Sherbert
$69.00
Rich flavour with an orangey zest, this fibreless fruit has a bright orange flesh and is very sweet. One of the best mangoes available. Shows signs of good resistance to bacterial black spot and anthracnose. Bred in Florida from Lemon Meringue.
Custard Apple - African Pride
$69.00 ($69.00-$69.00 choose a size)
This heart shaped fruit has a medium thick skin, more seed than the Pinks Mammoth and produces high yields. Early and consistent bearing, presentable fruit and early maturing is what makes this the main commercial variety. The foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy. This is not a problem long term. With care and acclimatisation they will bounce back
