Very sweet, low chill, self-pollinating Cherry with firm textured flesh and deep, dark red colour when ripe. This PBR cultivar is well suited to warm temperate and cooler sub-tropical areas. The Royal Crimson is helpful to pollinate other low chill cherries like Minnie Royal and Royal Lee. Together, all three will work to produce good crops of cherries in your low chill orchard. Larger and rounder than most other avocado varieties. It has a very dark, almost black skin that only gets darker as it ripens. The flesh is a pale green colour with a creamier consistency than the more common Hass and it has a slightly nutty and creamy taste. It has a medium-sized seed. Lamb Hass is a smaller tree that bears more fruit and it matures later in the season than regular Hass avocados. The symmetrical fruit has pebbly skin with green flecks. This variety has Plant Breeder Rights over it.

Most popular variety due to both its superior taste and excellent keeping qualities. Medium sized, pear-shaped fruit has an excellent creamy, flesh. The leathery rough dark-purple skin turns to black when ripe. H Aug-Dec. Hass is an A type variety and for good fruit set a B type variety is needed for cross pollination. Suggested varieties to grow alongside a Hass are Shepard, Sharwill, Fuerte, Bacon (if you're in a cooler climate)and Linda. Happy fresh avocado smashing.
