Jakfruit is a handsome evergreen tree, reaching a height of 8-15 metres and bearing the worlds largest fruit. Fruits can weigh up to 20kg. Strong scent to fruit skin, but it is deliciously sweet, with tropical flavours of banana and mango. It can be eaten fresh or dried. Very quick growing and usually starts fruiting in 4th year.
