I.bought this plant as part of my fruit tree orchard. The fruit is delicious and great to grow in the tropics. I received the tree from Daley's in super condition and planted straight away, where it has been powering.

Black Sapote - Maher

My maher black sapote is not self fertile. Every year flowers form only to fall off again. I have planted a seedling next to it in order for cross pollination to occur but it will take some time for the second tree to grow.

I have eaten chocolate pudding fruit before and really liked the taste. I have had flowers already but I pulled them off (which killed me :)) because I wanted the plant to focus on growth.
